Description
A major advantage of the VioSeal canal filling material is it’s biocompatibility. It can easily be used to seal even tight canals. The paste is very easy to mix and prepared. It’s insoluble in tissue fluids, so it can be utilized as an antimicrobial agent. The sealing material is radiopaque.
How to use:
- Fully prepared the root canal for the procedure
- Using absorbent paper points, dry out the canal
- Prepare sterile gutta-percha points
Restoration:
- Remove the cap of the syringe and dispense the required amount of base and catalyst
- Mix the base and the catalyst up – you can use either a mixing tip or a spatula
- Before you insert the gutta-percha tip, cover it with a very think layer of the sealing mixture
- Trim away any excess of the gutta-percha tip
- When done with the procedure, put the tip off, and re-seal with the syringe (clean any leftover sealant)
- Store the VioSeal syringe in a dry and cool place
